Young Chef Learning to Cook Knife, 118mm, Stainless, Copper Beech
R 980,00
The Robert Herder Windmill Knife "Young Chef" is a specially designed starter knife for children (ages 10+) and novice cooks, featuring a rounded tip to safely teach smooth, rocking cutting motions.
Its finely ground, stainless chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel blade (60 HRC) utilizes the ultra-thin "Solingen thin grind" to provide exceptionally low resistance and preserve essential food flavors.
The voluminous, comfortably angled handle is crafted from slip-resistant steamed beechwood, providing excellent hand clearance and safety for smaller hands working on a cutting board.
Weighing just 52g, this highly ergonomic, German-made learning tool is built for lifelong skill-building, provided it is strictly hand-washed and occasionally treated with wood care oil.

Reviews
Like all mill knives, it is razor-sharp. The handle is beautifully shaped for little hands. The rounded tip prevents puncture wounds. Ideal for helping to instill a love of cooking in the younger generation. This knife already made the grandson feel like a "real chef".
A very nice chef's knife. I always found the 'real' one too big, but I enjoy working with this knife.
