The Robert Herder breakfast knife humpback stainless steel, walnut, humpback knife is a typical German breakfast knife with a hump blade. The knife is therefore also called a humpback knife, especially in the German knife capital Solingen. You can use this knife to cut various foods such as bread, hard rolls, cheese and salami and it is also great for spreading butter, jam or chocolate cream on bread. This design, with a stainless steel hump blade combined with an elegant wooden handle, not only gives the knife a stylish appearance but also contributes to its long service life. However, it is important to know that this knife is not dishwasher safe, even though it has a stainless steel blade.

With a Robert Herder humpback knife, you bring a piece of German craftsmanship into your house that you will use for every breakfast for years.

    Beautiful Walnut Handle

Beautiful knife, like all Buckels breakfast knives. Nicely finished and comfortable in the hand. I own both stainless steel and carbon steel Buckels knives. Both types of steel are nice and sharp straight out of the box and can be made razor-sharp with little effort. I find carbon steel the most beautiful, but stainless steel is more practical in damp conditions. This knife with a walnut handle has a stainless steel blade. Bought it because of the type of wood, and the wood is truly beautiful. No regrets, but not cheap. Probably the only Buckels knife with a walnut handle in Oegstgeest!

    The Only Knife I Use

Handy for scraping out the chocolate spread. Delivered sharp, cuts right through a bread roll, sausage, and cheese. I hardly use any other knife anymore.

    Indispensable Kitchen Tool

Knife was bought as a gift I've had one for years and find it indispensable. It will cut your roll, bread your butter and do lots of other things as well.Easily sharpened so will also cut tomatoes etc A really terrific product. This one had a walnut handle and was pricier I'd go for a cheaper wood!
