The Robert Herder Breakfast Knife Humpback stainless steel, apricot wood, humpback knifeis a typical German breakfast knife with a hump blade. The knife is therefore also called a humpback knife, especially in the German knife capital Solingen. You can use this knife to cut various foods such as bread, hard rolls, cheese and salami and it is also great for spreading butter, jam or chocolate cream on bread. This design, with a stainless steel hump blade combined with an elegant wooden handle, not only gives the knife a stylish appearance but also contributes to its long service life. However, it is important to know that this knife is not dishwasher safe, even though it has a stainless steel blade.

With a Robert Herder humpback knife, you bring a piece of German craftsmanship into your house that you will use for every breakfast for years.

    The perfect breakfast knife

A great knifefrom the Herder Buckels. I have several of them. They look good and feel great in the hand; are sharp and easy to resharpen; and can be made very sharp by stropping. The apricot wood from which the handle of this particular example is made looks very beautiful.
