The blade is made of stainless steel and ground by hand according to the principle of the traditional „Solingen thin grind“. The result is a very sharp knife.

    Perfect Paring Knife

Hi, I needed some new 8.5cm paring knives from Robert Herder (Windmühlen-Messer). I ordered the entire color range. The plastic handles of the knives are very easy to clean, making them extremely hygienic. The cutting performance is excellent; all the knives are easy to use and can be easily resharpened.

    Very Nice Little Knife

A very nice little knife. I already have four different colors in my drawer. A little more expensive than paring knives from other brands like Wüsthof and Victorinox, but it more than makes up for it. Extremely sharp, even after a year of intensive use. Highly recommended!

    Great Knife, Minor Critique

A Herder knife with little to criticize. Except that the carbon steel version is sharper.
